Volunteer Geneva is organizing its first Charity Fashion Show – CFS

…and we need your help to make this event happen!

The theme of the CFS is “La mode dans le monde” and it aims to bring together fashion designers from different continents using different materials and following different trends

It is planned to take place in the second part of 2014.

The profits from the CFS will fund specific Volunteer Geneva activities that will take place from July – December 2014.

ROLES WITH GREAT RESPONSIBILITY

Organizing Committee:
1) Backstage Manager: oversees the actual production of the CFS by, inter alia, finding the venue, setting up the space, arranging for a presenter, dj, photographer, lights, decoration.
2) Designers and model manager: finds designers, models, hairdressers, make-up artists, accessories and coordinates the clothing fittings and rehearsals.
3) Publicist: oversees the advertising of the CFS, by, inter alia, arranging for the creation of publicity material and tickets and their distribution/sale.
4) Sponsor liaison manager: solicits donors and vendors to donate funds, products and services for the charity event.

The Organizing Committee is coordinated by the Coordinator (Volunteer Geneva Committee member): oversees the CFS’s implementation by, inter alia, executing the theme of the show, creating a budget and managing the O.C.

ROLES WITH MEDIUM RESPONSIBILITY
1) Three Assistants of the Backstage Manager: assisting the Backstage Manager with the actual production of the CFS by, inter alia, assisting with finding the venue, setting up the space, arranging for a presenter, dj, photographer, lights, decoration.
2) Two Assistants of the Designer and Model Manager: assist the Designer and Model Manager by assisting in finding designers, models, hairdressers, make-up artists, accessories and coordinates the clothing fittings and rehearsals.
3) Two Assistants of the Publicist: assist the Publicist by assisting in the creation of publicity material and tickets and their distribution/sale.
4) Two Assistants of the Sponsor liaison: assist the Sponsor liaison by assisting in soliciting donors and vendors to donate funds, products and services for the charity event.

ROLES WITH MINIMUM RESPONSIBILITY (FOR THE REHEARSAL AND DAY OF THE EVENT)
1) Presenter (MC)
2) Photographers, dj, models, hairdressers, make-up artists
3) Volunteers at the ticket counter, entrance and welcome, buvette, backstage assistance and other according to needs
