• Billionaires from Russia and China will not attend the World Economic Forum (WEF). This was reported by Bloomberg.

The agency's journalists noted that Russian billionaires used to be an inherent attribute of Davos (the WEF venue) - as commonplace as Moncler down jackets. "This year there are zero of them," writes the foreign media.

The World Economic Forum will be held in Switzerland from 16 to 20 January under the motto "Cooperation in a Fractured World".

Participants in the WEF every year are world leaders, top managers of major companies, politicians and public figures. The organisers said that a record number of more than 2,700 people will attend this year's Davos.
